Casa Xocolat (Loyola Heights, Quezon City, Philippines) is set in a 1960s split level house renovated into a restaurant. The mood is quite laid back, with unfinished wooden tables, unmatched wooden chairs painted in whimsical patterns, bead curtains, capiz shell lamp...When I first came here I strangely felt like I was in Boracay.
Food: their menu is built around a set of hot chocolate variants--tsokolate, 'aztec,' 'mexican,' organic (with soy milk, kind of sour)...but they've also got paninis, pastas, salads, and desserts.
What we tried:

Churros (not as greasy and a bit heftier than the coiled ones you find in Dulcinea) with two kinds of dip: goat cheese in oil and 'xocolat'

Grilled chicken salad with Asian dressing: lettuce, cucumber, mandarin orange sections, glazed pili nuts (was surprised to find these in the salad but they actually went well with it), grilled chicken slivers, Asian dressing (probably made with sesame oil, sugar, a bit of vinegar, maybe orange juice?)
A cup of traditional thick tsokolate
A cup of 'aztec' chocolate with a hint of spice (thick too)
